looking back…
Sunday, December 31, 2006
2007 is about to come, meaning another year is almost over.. is 2006 a significant one for me? yeah it is.. perhaps one of the happiest years (if not the happiest) of my life and also the most painful one.. however, it made me a better person, it gave me the chance to reflect on things that really matters to me, know my priorities.. problems are the spice of our life, everything in life are good, it just depends on which side of the situation you choose to look at - and in 2006, i chose to look in the brighter side of every pain inflicted in me..
bad luck happens only to those who believe it…
me? i call it challenge
it's nice to look back to significant events that happened in 2006.. remind me in case i forgot some events..
baffled thoughts
few days from now, my parents will go back to phils and i'll be alone again.. quite confused if i should be happy to have my freedom again or miss the tender loving care of my parents.. it's really effin' confusing, one thing for sure is i love them both next to God and the thought that i'll be physically separated from them makes me cry.. oh well im teary eyed now..
Miraculous Christmas in Korea..
Tuesday, December 26, 2006
last Christmas eve, we decided to wait for Christmas at Ariana Hotel together with my guests Ria, Minmok and Jiho.. they all asked me if i will not spend noche buena with my parents.. well aside from an obvious fact, my family is not used to celebrate such 'coz in Indang (my hometown), we usually reserve our energies for fiesta on the 27th. Hence, we dont stay up late on the 24th of December 'coz 25th means cleaning the house and ang maka-ubos-lakas na paghahalo ng ube.. 26th time for buying meats, gayat ng ingredients and luto at night.. have to wake up early the next day kc yun na ang big day.. that's the main reason why we never got used to celebrate noche buena.
aside from my way of celebrating Christmas, we are also celebrating MJ's birthday but pardon me for not expounding more on that.. instead, i'll just greet her a very happy birthday.. hope you had a great time..
it's a great way to start the Christmas season with prayers (duh ako ba ito?!) all least you'll get to see the holly side of me & not the ho**y me aight?! in preparation for Christmas, i completed SimbangGabi. It's my second time to complete Simbang Gabi (SG). Grabe noh, 2 out of so many years of existence.
hello’s and goodbye’s
Monday, December 25, 2006nothing's permanent, people come and go, change is inevitable.. no matter how hard it is, at some point, we always have to say goodbye.. most often, these are unwanted goodbyes..
a lot of people came into my life and a lot of them left also.. some of them left permanently, aside form those that i intentionally disposed (sorry for the term hehe) while some left me physically but we're sure that in due time we can easily pickup where we last left..
right now, most of my closest student-friends are working in Seoul, quite far from me.. most of them managed to see me before leaving the City of Daegu.. while others never forget to call me once in a while..
good bye to all my friends who chose not to communicate with me.. good bye and goodluck to my friends who will try their luck in a place far from home.. i share my good bye and goodluck to my mare & pare who sent their first son to Phils as mandated by the law.. good bye to my cousin who chose a happy life than a financially stable future.. goodbye to all the pains of the year 2006 as i welcome 2007 with a brighter promise.. hello..
hello to all my new found friends in Seoul and in Daegu, i hope to share happy moments with you.. hello to my incoming students who just went out with me a couple of nights ago.. and im more than happy to say hello to someone as i tearfully welcome you back into my life..
